New prepainted Floors & Walls!

Hi to everyone

Today we are presenting a new system of floors and walls, made in resin, and prepainted.
This system allows the creation of corridors and rooms of various shapes and dimensions.The walls do not need any support to keep upright and be combined to form corridors and rooms, big and small.

The use of (male) pins on the whole side of the walls allow them to be safely positioned and interlocked with other pieces for great results.

All pieces are already prepainted and ready to be placed on the gaming table.
Floors and walls alike are printed on both sides.
The Floors have a side with a classical stone flooring, and another with a sewer canals. They have also 2 smaller floor pieces which allow to create various kind of sewer shapes.

All is prepainted and ready to play.
In the next article we will discuss a bit more about the purchasable articles and kits and their prices.

Oggi presentiamo il contenuto della scatola. Possiamo solo dire che contiene veramente molti pezzi.
Il prezzo della scatola durante il Kickstarter sarà di 55,00$ (circa 49,00€ ). Ma già con 2 scatole il prezzo scende a 100,00 $ (circa 88,00€)… Ma i vari Perks e rewards li illustreremo meglio nei prossimi posts.

Today we present the content of the box. we can only say that it really contain many pieces.
The price of the box during the Kickstarter will be $ 55.00 (about € 49.00). But already with 2 boxes the price drops to $ 100.00 (about € 88.00) … But the various Perks and rewards we will explain better in the coming posts.

Elenco del contenuto: 12 pareti grandi, 6 pareti piccole, 6 pavimenti a doppia faccia: un lato pietra, l’altro design fogna, 18 pareti dinamiche in vari designs e misure, 3 porte, 6 grate, 6 copri pilastri e per finire una trentina di tappi giunzione pareti e pavimenti.
Ma cosa possiamo fare con una sola scatola? di seguito postiamo alcune combinazioni possibili.

Update #16 – Modular Underground Project

Salve a tutti.
Mentre attendiamo i Files 3D per gli stampi in acciaio del set base delle fogne e del sotterraneo. Partiamo con il nuovo design del secondo set di sotterranei e stanze di castello. Il secondo set (disegni tecnici realizzati da Michele Bottalico) sarà dedicato al periodo gotico e alle prime finestre con gli archi a “Sesto Acuto” e a “Tutto Sesto”, sia mono che bifore. Creando ulteriore dinamicità e possibilità per rendere unico il vostro dungeon dei sogni.
Vi mostriamo i primi W.I.P. dei muri base in pietra e le nuove “pareti dinamiche”.

While we wait the 3D Files for the steel molds of the basic set of sewers and underground. Let’s start with the new design of the second set: underground and rooms of the castle. The second set (technical drawings made by Michele Bottalico) will be dedicated to the Gothic period and to the first windows with arches “Sesto Acuto” and “Everything Sesto”, both mono that mullioned windows. Creating so further dynamism and possibilities to make unique your dungeon of dream.
We show the first W.I.P. walls of stone base and the new “walls dynamics”.

Come scritto sopra, sono ancora in lavorazione, ma si comincia a vedere il risultato finale.
La parte centrale della parete è sempre rimovibile e sostituibile con altre pareti dinamiche.

As noted above, are still in the works, but you begin to see the end result.

Le nuove pareti dinamiche in pietra possono essere usate anche con la versione precedente di muri ad arco tutto sesto in mattoni, rendendo più vario il design dei corridoi…

…come il muro ad arco “Sesto Acuto”, potrà utilizzare alcune delle pareti mobili in mattoni.

Update #13 – Underground Project

Salve a tutti.
Il sotterraneo e le fogne stanno prendendo forma e “colore”.
Ecco le prime immagini dei prototipi dipinti.

The underground and the sewers are taking shape and “color”.
Here are the first images of the prototypes paintings.

Mentre attendiamo pazientemente che sia tutto digitalizzato nel linguaggio macchina per la prototipazione in plastica dura delle parti del dungeon. Da oggi entreremo nel dettaglio di ciò che si potrà ottenere già solo con i pavimenti e le pareti base.

While we wait patiently that everything come digitized into machine language for prototyping in hard plastic of the parts of the dungeon. From today we will enter into the details of what you can get only with the floors and the walls base.

Per il momento… vi lascio a sognare su cosa potrete ottenere con il nostro dungeon.

Mancano pochi giorni a Natale. Siamo nel periodo dei regali. Quindi vogliamo  regalarvi delle anteprime sul nostro nuovo progetto “Undergound”. Sono le prime sezioni 10×10 cm. delle “fogne” e dei “sotterranei”

Just a few days at Christmas. We are in the period of gifts. So we want to give previews of our new project “Underground”. They are the first sections 10×10 cm. of the “sewer” and “underground”

Come potete vedere dalle immagini le pareti hanno delle sezioni dinamiche che posso essere rimosse e sostituite come meglio si vuole.
Ne creeremo molte altre per fornire valide soluzioni da utilizzare in un dungeon che si rispetti. Come passaggi segreti, porte, sezioni in materiali diversi come legno, pietra, metallo…
L’anno nuovo ci vedrà impegnati nella realizzazione di questo abbizioso progetto. Ma non solo in questo.

Today we present an our collaborator of longtime Alessio Cisbani,
fantastic painter. He was part of the team in the realization of our game skirmish “Mindstalkers.” Below are some examples of Mindstalkers miniatures painted by him.

Oggi Alessio torna a collaborare con noi nella veste di disegnatore e scultore.
E’ veramente poliedrico come personaggio.
Naturalmente in un sotterraneo che si rispetti non possono mancare le cripte. E prendendo spunto da cripte italiane, abbiamo creato i nostri terrificanti luoghi di sepoltura.
Eccovi alcuni sketches degli “ospiti” che vi troveremo all’interno.

Today Alessio returns to cooperate with us in the role of designer and sculptor. It ‘s really versatile as character.
Of course in a underground that respectable can not miss the crypts. And taking a cue from Italian crypts, we have created our terrifying burial sites.

A new MHW project: Underground

Hello to all.
Manorhouse Workshop starts a new project which will be financed with the crowdfunding system.
Its name is Underground: in our specific case, the project will deal with everything that is underground.
As you can imagine it’s a very ambitious project, which will involve different historical periods up to the present day.
In fact in the basement we’ll find crypts, catacombs, cellars, sewers, underground railways and mines.
As usual we start with an initial mockup (a simulacre of the actual components of this kit) which helps us to understand the potential of this project, its great modularity and compatibility with all of our models and kits we made so far.
The mockup shows basic shapes only: the final pieces will be fully covered of details, accessories and textures.

The flooring of the sewers will have the initial 5 different sections of corridors, 3 floors rooms, plus 3 sections corridor “free”
The size are: 5 × 5 – 5 × 10 – 10 × 10 – 15 × 10 – 15 × 15 cm.
The walls are 6 cm. high (including the floor 6 mm high.)

The coupling system (optional) between the wall and the wall to hold the sections together without that move.
While the single wall is attached to the floor by means of a joint at the base of the wall, simple and fast to assemble and disassemble.

In the next update we will enter into the details of the structures. We’ll see how the walls are raised in height, of the practical solutions found to make “dynamic” walls.

Nuovo progetto MHW: Underground

Salve a tutti.
Manorhouse workshop parte con un nuovo progetto.
Sarà proposto tramite il sistema di Crowdfunding.
Underground: sottosuolo, nel nostro caso specifico il progetto tratterà tutto quello che si trova nel sottosuolo.
Un progetto molto ambizioso, che attraverserà varie epoche storiche fino ai giorni nostri.
Nel sottosuolo troviamo infatti antiche Cripte-catacombe, sotterranei, segrete-prigioni, fogne, ferrovie sotterranee e miniere.
Partiamo anche questa volta da un mockup  iniziale (una simulazione) per comprendere le potenzialità del nostro progetto e la sua modularità, oltre alla compatibilità con tutti i nostri modelli realizzati finora.
l’aspetto del mockup è basico, quindi ricrea solo in parte i dettagli del singolo pezzo.
Godetevi le prime immagini del mockup delle fogne.

La pavimentazione delle fogne avrà come set iniziale 5 diverse sezioni di corridoi, più 3 pavimenti stanze, più 3 sezioni corridoio “liberi”.
Le misure sono: 5×5 – 5×10 – 10×10 – 15×10 – 15×15 cm. le pareti sono alte 6 cm. (compreso il pavimento alto 6mm.)

Il sistema di aggancio (facoltativo) tra parete e parete permette di tenere insieme le sezioni senza che si muovano.
Mentre il singolo muro è agganciato al pavimento tramite un incastro alla base della parete, semplice e veloce da montare e smontare.

Nel prossimo update entreremo nel dettaglio delle strutture. Vedremo come le mura si elevano in altezza e le pratiche soluzini trovate per rendere “dinamiche” le pareti.
